Product Description:

An NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) thermistor is a type of temperature sensor commonly used in various applications, including heaters. The term "NTC" indicates that the resistance of the thermistor decreases as its temperature increases.

Resistance Variation: The NTC thermistor is made of a semiconductor material whose electrical resistance decreases as the temperature increases. The relationship between resistance and temperature is nonlinear, and it follows a negative temperature coefficient.

Temperature Sensing: The NTC thermistor is embedded or attached to a location within the heater where temperature monitoring is necessary. As the heater operates, the temperature at this location changes.

Monitoring Circuit: The NTC thermistor is part of a monitoring circuit that measures its resistance. This circuit is typically connected to a controller or microprocessor that interprets the resistance value and correlates it with the corresponding temperature.
